- The best teaching moments are when the students discover something on their own. Their enjoyment and satisfaction in those moments are the best.
- Teaching philosophy:
- My philosophy is to be the parent behind the kid on their first bike ride. I'm not the bike(material to learn) and I can't make them pedal the bike(will to learn) but I am there to encourage support and give the initial push to learn how to ride on their own.
- What I would like to instill in my students:
- I would like to instill perseverance, self motivation, compassion for others, and how to see the good in others to work towards unity among all.
- My story:
- I feel that my story hasn't gone on for too long but I began working with kids when I was 20 and have enjoyed it. I have been married for 6 years and now have a 18 month old of my own.
- Hobbies:
- My hobbies include going on walks with my family and two dogs. I also enjoy hiking, watching a Sharks game, and playing the occasional basketball game with friends.
