What I love about teaching:
I love watching the kiddos create and learn. When I see their confidence building. I just LOVE being with them everyday and listening to the hilarious things kids say.
Best teacher moment:
When one of my kiddos was struggling learning how to read. He was trying SO hard. He was getting sad and frustrated. Then..... it happened, he read a word and he smiled so big and I cried! I was so happy for him because from there on out he soared with his reading.
Teaching philosophy:
To maintain a gentle, nurturing classroom environment with a Christ-centered, God honoring spirit.
What I would like to instill in my students:
God first! God loves us so much and he never, ever, ever breaks His promises.
My story:
I accepted Jesus into my heart and life when I was 33 years old. I knew that something had always been missing from my life and when I knew that missing piece was Jesus and came to love and know Him my entire life changed. Because of Him I am doing what I love. I love being with children. I am overjoyed because of what God has done in my life and I will continue to share that joy with the students I am so blessed to teach.
Hobbies:
Running, working out, crafting, and baking.
