- What I love about teaching:
- I love seeing kids faces when they learn something new. Teaching them both academically and spiritually makes me feel happy inside. I enjoy being with them and giving them a place for them to be themselves. Seeing them everyday makes me smile. I miss them so much on vacations!
- Best teacher moment:
- Hearing one of my students yell out "oh I get it now!" followed by another saying "ya me too!"
- Teaching philosophy:
- I go by Tabernacles philosophy. "Teaching in all areas in life, the Truth, as centered in the Lord Jesus of the Bible."
- What I would like to instill in my students:
- Always look to Christ for guidance. By trying your hardest, you have already set yourself on the path of success.
- My story:
- I grew up in a Christian environment. I attended Tabernacle from Pre-school to 8th grade. In 2010 I graduated from Berean Christian High School. I went to DVC then graduated from Notre Dame de Namur University. I've been working at Tabernacle since I was 17 in the daycare program. I later became a substitute teacher and drama teacher. In 2019 I started teaching first grade and I love it!
- Hobbies:
- I enjoy reading (mysteries, plays or scyfy mostly) and attend A's games when I get the chance. I love seeing plays and going to museums. I also enjoy watching classic movies. You can never go wrong with old Hollywood! You can find ALOT of history books around my house.
