- What I love about teaching:
- I love being able to help equip the next generation to be exactly who God created them to be! My students quickly become family and I love spending my days with each and every one of them!
- Best teacher moment:
- We sing and dance and clap and chant A LOT to help us learn! I love every moment I get to do these things with my students!
- Teaching philosophy:
- Positivity is key! My goal is to help foster an environment where students encourage and support one another all while learning and discovering together. I encourage my students to recognize their fellow classmates for the gifts God has given them all while embracing our differences too! I also strive to keep learning as fun and creative as possible.
- What I would like to instill in my students:
- I would like my students to know that we are never done learning! I want them to strive for new knowledge about the world around them and the God who made them. I want them to first and foremost be "followers of Christ" as well as "life-long learners."
- My story:
- I have been a Tabernacle Tiger since the age of 5! I had the privilege of attending Tabernacle as a student from kindergarten until 8th grade. I worked daycare at Tabernacle all through high school and during the summer months of college. I attended Azusa Pacific University and I studied Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Special Education. I have been teaching at Tabernacle for 9 years now! My husband and I have been married for eight years and we have the cutest little girl, Zoe! God has blessed me in so many ways and I know that teaching his children is the calling He has on my life!
- Hobbies:
- I love being active! Some of my favorite activities are running with my jogging stroller, lifting weights, and obstacle course racing. I also love board games with my family and friends!
