- What I love about teaching:
- It is so amazing to see the pride a student has in themselves when they have their "ah ha" moment!
- Best teacher moment:
- Watching a student struggle to read for many months until one day it "clicked" and she always carried a book around after that!
- Teaching philosophy:
- All children are gifted in different areas.... it's ok if they do not excel at everything. Keep trying and doing one's best is what is important.
- What I would like to instill in my students:
- I would like to instill confidence to dream big while teaching them the knowledge they need to achieve those dreams.
- My story:
- I started working at Tabernacle at a young age of 18 in the daycare program. Throughout the years I have worn many hats at Tabernacle from recess monitor to administration. Even though I have been out of the classroom for many years I love to watch the students grow throughout their time at the school. Now as a parent start the process on the other side I can say that I have experienced all sides of the school and continue to love being part of the Tabernacle family.
- Hobbies:
