- Any time I get to be the one to pray with a student who is hurting or be the one to help the "light" turn on for a child who is struggling.
- Teaching philosophy:
- Teaching little ones allows me to be super silly in the way we learn. If you can move to it, sing to it or dance to it, I'm in!!! Learning should always be fun!!!
- What I would like to instill in my students:
- A TRUE love for learning which they will carry with them throughout their educational years!
- My story:
- I never saw myself as a teacher. I graduated with a business degree and began a career as a group manager with Office Depot. After I began my own family I felt more and more pulled toward teaching and God began to open doors. Now, 23 years later I am blessed to be doing something I love every single day! I truly feel this is the calling God had on my life!
- Hobbies:
- Reading, taking my dog on long walks, anything I can do with my family, cooking
