- What I love about teaching:
- I love that I get to share stories with my students. I love seeing the looks on their faces when it makes sense or they connect to what is being taught.
- Best teacher moment:
- After discipling my students while we were at Arlington National Cemetary, they showed me that "they got it!" when they thanked, shook hands & took pictures with the WW2 and Vietnam War Veterans they met just 5 minutes later.
- Teaching philosophy:
- Every student can learn. Every student has gifts from God.
- What I would like to instill in my students:
- I want they to walk away knowing they are loved regardless.
- My story:
- I grew up as a Navy kid. My dad was stationed on Guam and I was able to travel, see and learn about different cultures. I went back to Guam when I first began to teach. I have a husband, 2 sisters, 2 nephews, 2 nieces and 2 great-nieces and a great-nephew. I worked for Disney for 16 years.
- Hobbies:
- Reading, bicycling, traveling & trying new foods, crafts and Disney
